Research

My research deals with the ecology and conservation of epiphytes in boreal forests. The influence of habitat structure on epiphytic lichens are studied at several spatial scales (tree, stand and landscape).

Current work include:
1. Lichens as biodiversity indicators
2. Methods for epiphyte quantification
3. Effect of landscape structure on epiphytes
