Doctoral (PhD) studies in the department consists of four years full-time study, that can be extended via participation in departmental activities such as teaching. The Doctoral study program includes short courses and primary research work for your thesis. Students are trained to think critically and analytically and to carry out research that furthers the current scientific knowledge in their chosen field. During your PhD studies you will work both independently, collaboratively and within the department, providing you with suitable atributes for a University, industry, or public sector career.
